BBFI Missionaries to SPAIN since 1958

Dear Pastor & Church:

The Guadalajara church emphasized missions and faith promise for three Sundays. The church was privileged to have one of the missionaries that we support in the Philippines come for a visit (he is from Ireland). We believe our people understand faith-promise better than ever and on the final Sunday they promised to give $19,110 (16.380 euros). Many of our people have lost their jobs due to the financial crisis, so this is really a promise of faith for most of them. Faith-promise missions giving works anywhere in the world.
We asked prayer last month for Bro. Eddie, one of our members who had suffered a fall on his construction job with a serious head injury. He stayed in ICU for 20 days but God has blessed in a special way and today he is being released from the hospital. He is still pretty weak and has suffered a partial facial paralysis but is slowly but surely recuperating. Thank you for praying. God still works miracles!
The surgeon who is to do the para-thyroid surgery for Carolyn called this week to tell her they are postponing the operation until after they make a bone density test. We will have to wait for the results of this test to determine the date of the operation. This past week she had her regular checkup with the kidney specialist. She has not suffered any more loss of kidney function since November for which we praise the Lord. So she is just continuing with her regular treatments and medicine for now. How thankful we are for God’s watchcare over her.
Thank you once again for your constant faithfulness to us and the cause of Christ in Spain. We are laborers together for Him.

In Christ,
In Christ, Lavon and Carolyn
