DECEMBER 2007 Report

Dear brethren in Christ;

“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” ECCLESIASTES 7:8

          During this Holiday Season, we tend to reflect on coming to the “end” of another year (2007), of which we had many blessings and challenges.
          Blessings, in the salvation of five precious souls; Chris, Rosario (and his wife), Ben and Donita. These all made professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and with the exception of Rosario (who passed away this year), they all need to grow in the Word of God. Please pray for them.
          There are also blessings to know that our daughters, their husbands and our growing seven grandchildren are being faithful in service to the Lord. It is a blessing to see my mother and my mother-in-law growing in the knowledge of our Saviour. Overall, what a blessing it is for me to have my dear wife Janet helping me and being so dedicated in serving our Lord and Saviour in the different aspects of our ministry.
          There will also be challenges in the ministry, as changes will be taking place this coming year, 2008. We need your prayers as we continue to reach the Spanish speaking community in the city of Denver and surrounding areas.
          Another challenge and prayer concern I will face this coming year is my health situation. Thanks to our Lord and the yearly checkup, the doctors found a stomach aorta aneurysm that will need to be checked on every six months. If it grows to a dangerous size, I will need to have it operated on. We know our Lord is in complete control of the situation and I rest in Him, but I do covet your prayers.
          We are looking forward to the “beginning” of another year filled with God’s blessings and challenges in the work the Lord has called us to. We also look forward to “fruit that may abound to your account.”
Philippians 4:17b
          We know you will also have your share of blessings and challenges in this coming New Year 2008. Therefore, be assured that our prayers will be with you.

          Thank You for holding us up before our Lord in prayer and in your continual, faithful financial support!

IN CHRISTIAN LOVE,
Harvest
