GOD’S PROVISION
Since our last two reports we mentioned a need that arose about us leaving the
Pastorate of Park View Bible Baptist Church and to give ourselves solely to the
Spanish Ministry here in Denver. Through much prayer and waiting on the Lord, He
has been wonderful in answering our prayers! He has not only provided a Pastor
for PVBBC, but He has also blessed with a congregation to merge with our Church.
As of February 2008, the congregation of Calvary Baptist Church of Lakewood,
Colorado (under the leadership of Bro. Kenneth Lowrey) has merged with Park View
Bible Baptist Church.
THE BEGINNING OF “IGLESIA BAUTISTA EL CALVARIO”
The Lord has answered another prayer with the blessing of being able to use the
former facilities of Calvary Baptist Church for the Spanish Ministry. Therefore,
the Lord has more than abundantly provided us with a “tool” for the ministry. We
need a lot of prayer for the new work as we are now in the process of preparing
flyers and tracts to pass around in the surrounding neighborhoods. The name of
the Church will be “Iglesia Bautista El Calvario” (Calvary Baptist Church). We
are excited to see what the Lord will do! Please pray with us for God’s
Blessings and Wisdom in this new ministry.
PRAYER FOR HEALTH ANSWERED
I thank all of you for your prayers on my behalf because, during the month of
January, an unexpected concern arose in a routine exam. Through the results of a
Tread Mill test, I was advised to have an Angiogram taken. Through this
intervention, an Angioplasty was performed and I had a stent put in an artery
that was over 95% blocked. The doctor said I was a potential candidate for a
heart attack. Praise the Lord He took care of a need, that I didn’t even know I
had! The doctor says I have a healthy heart and I just need to adjust my eating
habits and do more exercise. Please continue to pray for my health and that of
my family.
We are so grateful to the
answer of prayers! Our great God continues to work miracles in many different
ways. Thank you for your faithful, sacrificial giving of prayer and financial
support!
