Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you for your prayers and support for our ministry here in
Greece. The New Year started off kind of scary for us. Our daughter
ended up in the hospital for two nights due to continues vomiting.
She was found to have intolerance of the milk; she is now on daily
medicine and different formula. This was stressful time for us
because her insurance was not in effect yet therefore it did not
cover the expense. But we know that God knows our need and always
provides.
As young missionaries it is intimidating ministering in a country
that is so closed and at times aggressive to the Gospel. God has
really blessed us though. In addition to the Dimakos, he has given
us some good godly people to fellowship and evangelize with. One man
in particular Leonardo is 91 years old and has been a faithful
witness here for over 40 years. His friend George, who has been
evangelizing for over 20 years, also has been a blessing. It is a
great encouragement when we get to evangelize with them. Their zeal
and passion to see people saved is a great example to me.
Another great benefit to our ministry has been our daughter Amalia.
Our next door neighbor has also just had a baby. The Lord has opened
the door to befriend them and for us to be a Christian testimony to
them. Please pray that the Lord will bless and they will dedicate
their life to Him. It would be amazing to have another young
Christian couple to fellowship and minister with right next door.
Please continue to pray for our ministry here. God is blessing and
opening doors. Please pray that we will remain faithful and
sensitive to His guidance.
Thank you for your support and prayers!
Serving together for His glory,
James and Cristina Sinde
