Dear Pastors and Friends,

“Heretic, heretic, oh God, why are all of the heretics here today?” This is the response of a Greek orthodox priest when I gave him a tract and told him that it has verses from the Bible and that God loves him. This and ripping tracts and throwing it in your face are the most common responses we get while passing out tracts. I love evangelizing with Bro. Dimakos and seeing how he responds to these situations. I praise God that I’ve learned more Greek during these past two months here and that every time I go evangelizing I get the opportunity to speak with some people in the little Greek I know.

I put in my application for my visa last month, and I already received notification for my interview that determines if I get my visa or not, Praise the Lord. It is set for October 30, please pray that everything will go smoothly. This is a major stepping stone for my being full time missionary here in Greece.

Cristina is now in her eighth month. We had planned on waiting to find out what the baby is, but the Greek doctor couldn’t contain himself. Even though we told him we don’t want to know, he said, “It’s a normal GIRL.” Please continue to pray for Cristina’s pregnancy, that she will have a normal and safe delivery, and that we will not have to encounter any extra expenses since she is not insured for this pregnancy.

Please continue to pray as we are at 10% of our support level, and the dollar exchange is continually dropping, which is like trying to fill a leaking barrel. But, God promises in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Serving together for His glory,

James and Cristina Sinde
