Dear Pastor and Church, What a whirlwind the last few
weeks have been! Classes have finished up, Patty arrived in March,
and graduation is history. We have also visited a few churches while
we have been here in the states so the days have been busy and have
flown by. That puts us even closer to going back home to Szolnok on
May 31st. News from Hungary is exciting. Easter services were well attended with several children presenting a special program using the “resurrection eggs” to share the Easter story. Then in April, 17 people went to a sister church for a special youth meeting and on the trip home, Rita, a lady who has been coming to church for awhile now, asked Zoltan to explain what salvation means! He (and several others in the car) talked with her and although she did not make a decision, the seed was watered! Please pray for Rita’s salvation. Plans for the upcoming English camp (June) and the 4th annual Baseball camp (July) are moving right along. Many applications have already been received for the baseball camp so we could possibly see many more than the 55 kids we had last year. Please keep these two special camps in your prayers for further outreach and more salvations. One church has already sent in a special gift for the camps and if any others would like to send in funds to help with these camp expenses, it would be greatly appreciated. On the health front, it has
been rounds of doctor’s visits due to a staph infection (MRSA)
picked up from the surgery in Hungary. With that and some other scar
tissue problems, I had to have another minor surgery. They found a
few more bladder stones that had to be removed and corrected the
scar tissue problem and I am feeling much better. Thank you for the
prayers and for the financial help during this time. Patty also had
a checkup for her diabetes and she is doing fine. By the time this letter
reaches you, we will be in Florida in a couple of churches then will
fly from Tampa back to Budapest on May 31st. We are thankful for all
your prayers for my studies. Now as we return to Hungary, we covet
your prayers for our continued ministries in Szolnok. We know that
your prayers make the difference for us and we appreciate them very
much. In Christ, (Editor's note: Click either picture for a closer look and use your browser's back button to return.)
