Prayer Letter
April 2008
Dear Praying Friends,
"This prayer thing really works!" Jay cheerfully exclaimed. He was
excited and it was coming out all over him. The previous week, I had
told him of your prayers for his job situation. He had sadly commented
then, "It will take a miracle for anyone to want to hire me."
Now, just a week later, he was bubbling over with joy. "The day after
you told me all those people were praying for me, I got a job! Not only
that, but four days later, my boss called me in and told me I was
getting more hours! Man, this prayer thing really works!" He has since
received a promotion and wants to thank all of you for your faithful
prayers.
His brother, John continues to have multiple doctor appointments but the
prognosis for his arm doesn't look good. Their friend, Lorry, has a boss
who is scheduling her to work every Sunday. Please continue to pray for
these new Christians as they struggle with their new lives.
Prayer really does work!
