Ivy
Buchanan is the lady with the black top in the centre of the
photo. She is the mother of Dennis and Wendy. Ivy's husband passed
away about three years ago. Before he died I was able to lead him
to the Lord. From that time Ivy's children had begun coming to
church with their brother, Dennis.
Then, last fall Ivy began attending. She had been raised,
confirmed and christened in the Methodist church. Gail and Maureen
went to visit Ivy because her daughter said she had questions.
They were able to give Ivy the plan of salvation and left a marked
John and Romans with her for her to read and pray that the Lord
would show her the difference in salvation and confirmation. Well,
he did! She came to me saying, "I was confirmed, but that is
not enough. There is a difference and I want to accept
Christ."
Next to Ivy on her right in the photo is Marc, her youngest
son. Marc is not saved. Please continue to pray for Marc that he
may see that there is a difference in being religous and being
saved!
