Dear Friends:

Well, the miles are racking up. Our travels have taken us all around the middle of America so far. We have reported to churches and visited friends and family as we keep the highway hot! We thank the Lord as He has blessed us with protection on the roads.

One of the highlights of these past two months was my visit to the Indian Baptist Mission Camp. Bro. Ed Bausell invited me to come and have time with other Indians from across  America as they met in Oklahoma for family camp. I gathered up my bedroll and drove down. It was really hot that week, but thankfully the dorms were air-conditioned. Gail had sent me with a warm comforter which I thought I would never need; however, after I  had chosen my bunk I realized that I was right below the air vent! Boy was I glad for the warmth provided by the comforter!

The week was filled with wonderful preaching and singing and I so enjoyed seeing and hearing what God is doing among Native Americans. To feel their heart for Christ and  for others was a real blessing to me. They also enjoyed this “Apple Indian” as I was  allowed to share with them about our ministry in England. What is an “Apple Indian”? One that is red on the outside, but white on the inside! This October I am scheduled to go to the Seminole Indian Reservation in Florida with Bro. Arlen Payne. Pray that God will be able to use me to be a challenge to the Native Americans. They are a wonderful people with much to give. May God call more of them to Christ and to His service.

Yours in His Service,
