Dear Friends,

Well, we jumped ththrough a couple more hoops! First, we had to take our accounts to an accountant to have the past three years certified. Which we did. The Lord provided us a Christian accountant so the church incurred no fee for this hoop. Praise the Lord. Second, a tree survey had to be done on the property. The cost for this as another $1,000 and it brought up the question of the ownership of three trees! So, we went round the neighbourhood and established who owned them and gained permission to cut them down! So, with two hoops complete, we are now waiting again!

Meanwhile, we continue to raise funds. Since April just over $3,000 has been given by churches and individuals in America and the folks at Temple have put just over $5,000 into the building fund. It is simply amazing to see God blessing. I only pray that as the banks consider us that the heart of the “king” will be influenced by the hand of God! Please pray to this end and consider if you can have a part in purchasing square feet. Each square foot is valued at $200. Please mark your gift for Temple Building.

And ministry continues. Our baby church, Hope, baptized an entire family in June! Seventeen were saved in August at the Youth Camp and 30 were saved at the Lift Camp.

Kevin and Sarah Pine were with us for the summer. They are working toward being here as TEAM missionaries by March 2010. They will be a valuable asset to the work here! I have enclosed an introductory letter and a presentation of their need with this prayer letter. Would you please pray about what you could do to help this couple get to the field?
