Dear Friends,

Chaos continues in the New Year in Greece. Strikes that are organized by the leftist party to bring down the government continue to paralyze the country. Taki, the pastor of Zakynthos Bible Baptist Church invited us to participate and preach for their building dedication service. However, farmers decided to blockade the highways and the port to the island with their tractors and he had to postpone until the blockade was released.

We finally made it to the service and we were excited to see that nearly 80 people showed up to celebrate this event, some of these were 15 unsaved friends and family. We rejoice with the work that Taki has done in the island of Zakynthos since 1997.

Back in Athens, we have been busy with evangelism, church, and the refugee center. We have been teaching, ministering, and feeding nearly 600 Muslim Persians each week. This gives us the opportunity to preach the gospel to 600 lost each week. The Iranian Pastor does a wonderful job working with those that show interest in the things of God, many have gotten saved and baptized. Among the refugees that are a few Arabic speakers so we have asked Izzat, an Egyptian believer in our church, to have Arabic services every Saturday. He has about 13 Arabs come to the services. Samuel has made a profession of faith and has been coming to our church faithfully, praise God.
