Dear Friends,
We arrived safely in the
states on February 21st beginning our short furlough. Kevin flew
out the very next day to be in a Missions Conference in Arizona.
Upon his return, we began searching for a vehicle and found one
the day before we had to be in a Missions Conference in Kansas
and began traveling as a family. Thank you for your prayers
regarding housing, a vehicle, and preparations for this
furlough. God has been faithful in providing all of this and we
so appreciate your prayers on our behalf.
We are excited to share that on
the Sunday evening right before we left to come to the states
that we had two more precious souls come to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ! As we were saying our goodbyes, Kevin was
talking to one of our teens named Kane. Kevin told him that we
hoped that before we got back to Wales we would have news that
he had gotten saved. Kane looked at Kevin and said, “How about
tonight?” After Kevin had taken him to a back room and went
through the scriptures with him, he came out and announced to
those that were still standing around fellowshipping that they
had a new brother in Christ. As everyone was rejoicing with
Kane, another woman came up to Kevin and said, “I’d like to be
saved also.” Kim had the privilege of taking her through the
scriptures, and needless to say, there was much rejoicing when
we once again announced that we had a new sister in Christ! Two
precious souls being saved in one night there in Wales is
equivalent to the hundreds and thousands that you hear of in
other countries, so we are thrilled, and ask you to pray for
Kane and Delyth as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
We have been told that Kane has already begun discipleship and
has been bringing his friends to church with him. Delyth wants
to begin discipleship once Kim returns to Wales. Praise
God!!!
We just finished a
Missions Conference in Hutchinson, Kansas and are now in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. We will then head to Arizona. We will
finish up the month of March in Texas. We will be with High
Street Baptist on Easter Sunday, and then have a full schedule
of visiting churches throughout Virginia, Ohio and Indiana the
month of April. Tom Jones, one of our Welsh lads that is
attending Bible College there in Great Britain, will be coming
to the states the end of April and will be traveling with us for
the month of May! We are excited about this and know that he
will be a great blessing to all those that get to meet him!
Please pray for our
safety as we travel and that God will use us to be a blessing
and encouragement as we share our ministry in Wales. Also, pray
for our health. We’ve all been battling either sinus, colds, or
ear infections since we’ve arrived here in the states. Lastly,
please pray for our dear people at Libanus as they carry on the
ministry there in Llanfairfechan.
