Kevin
And Kristina Brown - BBFI Missionaries to CroatiaKevin Brown accepted Christ at the age of five and surrendered his life for fulltime service at 12. Later he knew God wanted him to be a missionary. While talking to some missionaries he saw how difficult it was to lead a soul to Christ in a land where Catholicism and witchcraft were commonplace. "I had taken my freedom to worship God and share his gift of salvation with others for granted." Kristina Brown was saved in 1998 in a revival with Jamie Ragle. She attended Atlantic Baptist Bible College and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree. "I knew God wanted me to serve Him full time somewhere, whether I taught children or went to the mission field." The Browns served their internship at Buford Road Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. They worked together in a discipleship class and saw a majority of the class become active in the ministries of the church. He served as choir director, restructured the Sunday school and curriculum, planned mission trips and preached many times in an inner-city mission, children's church and for the pastor. Kevin and Kristina Brown feel called to take the gospel to the people of Croatia. Excerpt from the Baptist Bible Tribune November 2005 issue, page 11 |
