Dear Friends,
Being a missionary wife means being stretched in new and exciting ways. About 2 months ago a lady in our church approached me with a new ministry idea. She felt God wanted us to begin making dolls for children in hospitals, orphanages and abuse shelters. I thought it was an awesome idea! I did say to the sweet lady … “You know I don’t know how to sew, right?” She said, “Neither do I but we can learn for these kids!” We now have close to 30 dolls made but want 200 by Christmas. We will include a Bible verse and information about our church with each doll.
If there are any seamstresses in your church who have extra lace, material, felt or stuffing … we can use it! We want to begin sharing the dolls in Graz and then reach out to neighboring countries. Please pray for this new ministry and consider contributing some needed items.
Next month we will be taking a group of students to LIFT camp in Wales. Our kids, Ben & Emily, have been attending LIFT camps since they were old enough. It has made a huge difference in their lives. We are praying it will do the same for the students in our church. One young lady has invited 4 of her friends and we are praying for many more to attend. We’d like to thank our sending church, Seminole Baptist as well as Spring Creek Baptist for helping us with costs for camp. We still need $500 to complete this need. If your church would like to make a difference in the life of a student, please send your gift marked “Austria Camp 2010”.
Thank you so much for each of you who partner with us here in Graz.

Partners in His Service,
Melinda
