MINISTRY NEWS Everywhere we go to present the ministry of MANNA we continue to get overwhelmingly positive reponses from pastors and members alike. More churches are partnering with MANNA to reach out to the poor and needy as did our Savior minister to the spirit and body.
MEXICO MISSION
Jerry visited a new Feeding Center in Guadalajara in February. Two doctors went to perform general medical and dental examinations on the children. Thankfully, all of them were in good health. A free clinic was also held at the church for the general public. Forty-four patients were seen. This provided good relations between the church and community. The church will follow up with home visits.
FAMILY NEWS Ruthmary saw an orthopedic surgeon to get another opinion on her back and hip problems. He did not feel surgery was an option and has recommended physical therapy and/or injections. We had hoped for a new approach to this problem, but received none. Please continue to pray for her well being.
SUMMER MISSION TRIPS I am leading the following trips this summer for some "hands on" ministry:
June 11•19• Kiev, Ukraine. We are going to minister in an orphanage to 125 children.
Conducting Bible Klub; Building playground equipment from wood; taking coats, hats, and gloves for kids. Would also like to do medical and dental check-ups.
Cost $2000 includes airfare (NY-Kiev); ground transportation, lodging, some meals.
August 15•22•Panama. Will visit and minister in 3 Feeding Centers and 2 churches. Beautiful country, extremely poor.
