God gave Jerry an incredible survey trip to Europe! In 2 weeks he was able to visit Hungary, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, and Serbia. In spite of the strenuous schedule God sustained and guided him, providing unexpected contacts in Serbia and Kosovo. The situation looks promising for 5 new Feeding centers to begin operation early in 2007.
A new center in Siberia reported ministering to 17 children. "Many unsaved people have come and visited and so far we have seen one new family join the church!" The missionary there has had difficulty with local authorities. Pray that the feeding ministry will not only help children and enable them and their families to hear the Gospel, but soften attitudes of local officials as well.
Ground breaking for new MANNA Orphanage in Romania. After 2 years of negotiations Romanian officials granted approval for this orphanage. God provided just over $50,000 and construction began in September. We just received another $15,000 to get the roof on and "in the dry" before winter. Approximately $90,000 is needed to finish. Opening is scheduled for September 2007. You can join us in Romania Sep. 28-0ct. 4 for the opening celebration. See below.
Thank you for praying for Ruthmary's health and our insurance situation! The insurance has agreed to pay for the in hospital trial and then to assess the results to determine if the actual procedure of implanting the pain pump will be covered. However, we are also investigating laser surgery, which might be a better option by eliminating the pain, rather than masking it. Please pray for God to give us wisdom to make the right decisions.
MANNA MISSION Trips: January 22-30, 2007-Panama, visit 3 feeding centers; construction of playground equipment.
March 15-23, 2007-Bulgaria- experience 2 cultures: Bulgarian & Gypsy; visit 2 feeding centers.
June 14-20- Romania- visit feeding center; assist orphanage construction.
July 31-Aug7-Panama-4 feeding centers + orphanage/home for unwed pregnant teens.
Sep.24-0ct.4-BulgarialRomania- Visit three Feeding Centers and participate in opening of new MANNA Orphanage in Romania.
